MiniSepModules

The Universal Mechanical Module

Features:
One Module Meets All Your Needs

MiniSep1This one 1-1/4” piping module meets the near boiler mechanical requirements for any hydronic boiler system from 50,000 btu to 200,000 btu. Our primary/pecondary module works with any cast iron or copper finned systems or modulating condensing boiler.

Flexible Location:
Right, Left, Up or Down

The module is completely reversible for right or left
connections that can rotate up or down for complete mechanical room location flexibility.

Do it Once, Do It Right
All the components are in the right place every time, no questions asked slashing installation costs.

Just Add the Trimmings
MiniSep2You just add the right sized primary circulator (flanges are included in module), the proper size expansion tank (bracket included with module) and the locally accepted backflow valve.
Secondary Options: Add transition kits for either zone valve/actuator systems or zone pumping systems. Zone pumping, zone valve and mixing modules may also be added for a complete system. A Taco VDT variable speed circulator is a great choice for secondary circulation
requirements.

Perfectly Balanced Primary/Secondary: Mini-Sep
The Mini-Sep separator works the same a closely-spaced tees, only better. It automatically balances the flow in a primary/secondary system. Hydraulic fact: The flow in the primary loop will remain the same regardless of what happens in the secondary loop.
The flow from the secondary loop will blend with the primary loop flow to equalize the flow in the primary loop. For instance, if there is 6 GPM on the primary side and  3 GPM on the secondary side, the extra 3 GPM on the primary side will blend with the 3 GPM return from the secondary so that 6 GPM remains in the primary loop. It is self balancing and blending. Simple but powerful.

Contender

contender photosWall Hung
The Contender is a very compact, sealed combustion, 2" PVC vented hydronic heater designed specifically for hydronic closed loop applications, available in sizes from 50,000 btu thru 120,000 btu. The Contender can be used in conjunct with a Contender or Superstor indirect fired water heater to generate generous amounts of domestic hot water.

Quality
The Contender uses the same durable stainless steel heat exchanger and control as the Munchkin with improved condensate removal and air elimination. Millions of Contender boilers have been successfully installed world wide in just four years.

Price
The Contender can be the price leader because the entire heat exchanger is assembled utilizing a fully automated manufacturing process which realizes important cost savings. The entire construction of the boiler is modular permitting quick, standardized assembly.

Service
The Contender is designed for easy access to all components from the front and sides quick service.
